At a meeting of the Presidium of the Tatarstan republican organization of the Trade Union, which was chaired by Farida Garifullina, the results of the activities of the republican organization of the Trade Union for 2021 were summed up.
The meeting was attended by chairmen of district, primary trade union organizations, members of the control and audit commission of the republican organization of the Trade Union.
In 2021, trade union bodies provided legal assistance in the development of 85 collective agreements and local regulations. An examination of 45 collective agreements was carried out, social guarantees were not reduced during 2021.
When concluding collective agreements, trade union committees sought significant benefits and guarantees for employees, including: the provision of additional paid vacations, financing of the rehabilitation of workers and their families, additional payments for mentoring, additional cash payments to parents upon the birth of a child, stay of children in health camps, lump-sum payments for retirement. Examples of positive work are such enterprises as TC Maisky LLC, Chelny-Broiler LLC, Zelenodolsk Dairy Processing Plant JSC, Essen Production AG JSC, Elita State Enterprise JSC, FGBNU FTsTRB-VNIVI, LLC Buinsky Sugar”, OAO “Zainsky Sugar”, agricultural enterprises of Baltasinsky, Tetyushsky districts.
At the meeting, a detailed discussion of the issues of increasing the wages of workers in the industry took place. Despite the positive dynamics, at agricultural enterprises the gap between wages to the lower side of the national average, which is slightly more than 72 percent, still remains. The analysis shows that with the growth of the average wage in the industry, the minimum wage is growing due to the Republican Agreement on the Minimum Wage in the Republic of Tatarstan. From January 1, 2022, the minimum wage in the non-budgetary sector of the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan is 16,700 rubles, which is significantly higher than the federal minimum wage for 2022, which is 13,890 rubles.
In 2021, the most violations were identified in terms of the timeliness of training and briefings on labor protection, conducting a special assessment of working conditions and the inconsistency of its results with real working conditions, regulating the labor of women working in rural areas, guarantees and compensations for work in hazardous and dangerous working conditions, as well as the work of persons under the age of 18 years.
In conclusion, Farida Garifullina noted that the Government of the Russian Federation and the leadership of the Republic of Tatarstan are taking all necessary measures to overcome the consequences of sanctions, preserve production and jobs, ensure food security, focused the attention of the meeting participants on the need to further improve social partnership, increase the demands on employers to improve working conditions, preserving the health and life of workers, increasing the level of wages at agricultural enterprises.
