Agricultural fairs in Tatarstan have begun

19 March 2022, Saturday

Starting today, spring agricultural fairs have begun their work at 15 sites in Kazan, Zelenodolsk, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk and other cities of the republic. A wide range of products was presented to the citizens. These include vegetables, meat, sausage products, draft milk, cheese, butter, eggs, honey, sugar, flour, cereals and other farm products brought from the municipal districts of Tatarstan at prices below average retail prices.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov inspected several sites in the city.

“Our annual spring fairs have started today. From early morning people lined up for sugar, flour, and vegetables. But I would like to assure you that all products in the republic are available in sufficient quantities and it is not worth creating artificial excitement,” Marat Zyabbarov concluded.

Given the increased demand from the population, twice as many products were brought to the fairs, and for some items the increase was up to 5 times.
