Marat Zyabbarov: Tatpotrebsoyuz can fully provide the population with products
The Tatpotrebsoyuz can meet the needs of the population with local products in full. This was stated by the Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov at a general meeting of representatives of consumer societies and cooperatives of the republic.
“On the issue of procurement, especially potatoes and vegetables, I believe that the Tatpotrebsoyuz can fully meet the needs of the population with local products,” the head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food said. - The Tatpotrebsoyuz should work more actively with republican producers, ensure an integral system of procurement. Without it, we will not solve the problem of import substitution.”
Zyabbarov called for intensifying work on procurement, since today its volume is only 9.9 billion rubles, which is less than a third of the population's surplus products. “I appeal to the heads of districts - this is your priority task, which should be addressed at the municipal level. For this, the republic creates all the necessary conditions. Last year alone, 18 vehicles were handed over to manufacturers,” he said.
According to the minister, in the near future, the Tatpotrebsoyuz needs to form republican registers of producers and purveyors (purchasers) of potatoes and vegetables.
“According to the results of last year, you harvested only 1% of the produced volume of potatoes. We have launched a program for the construction of vegetable stores. This year we are funding project work. Our task is to organize work in such a way that the villagers can sell their products, earn money, so that their prosperity and living standards increase, and city residents can purchase quality food, bypassing a long chain of resellers,” he stressed.
Zyabbarov noted that consumer cooperatives have been created in all regions of the republic, which are engaged in the procurement of agricultural products and raw materials, their processing, trade and public catering. “At the same time, these areas are not fully organized by cooperatives in two districts. I ask the heads of the Zelenodolsk and Yelabuga regions to take the issue under special control. The heads of Aznakaevsky, Aksubaevsky, Mamadyshsky and Aktanyshsky districts need to be assisted in loading production capacities for processing agricultural products,” he continued.
The minister added that it is also necessary to use each truck shop as efficiently as possible and optimize their transport and logistics costs, ensure control over the implementation of outbound trade schedules for servicing rural settlements with essential goods.
