The ministry hosted a meeting with the delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The meeting was attended by First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nail Zalakov, head of the project for the export of Halal products, head of investment projects of the agro-industrial complex of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Gainullov. On the part of the Iranian delegation, Deputy Minister of Defense of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Executive Director of the Organization "ETKA" Mortaza Alemi, Economic Adviser of the Embassy Bahram Heydari and others.
The guests spoke about the types of activities they are engaged in. This includes agriculture, textiles, imports of grain, oil and fat products, exports of fruits and vegetables.
They discussed topical and promising areas for the development of cooperation. Tatarstan is interested in the possibility of using Iranian medicines in the field of veterinary medicine.
