Today, thematic meetings are being held on the territory of the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center as part of the TatAgroExpo specialized agricultural exhibition of achievements of the agro-industrial complex. Here the specialists of the agro-industrial complex discussed the most pressing issues of the industry today.
One of these meetings was a round table on the topic “Energy and resource saving in the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan”. It was attended by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Rafael Fattakhov, the head of the department of engineering and technical support of the agro-industrial complex of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilnar Gabbasov and others.
At the event, it was noted that recently the issue of energy saving in the agro-industrial complex has become very relevant. Of course, over the past decades, work has already been carried out in this direction, but now this issue has manifested itself most acutely. In 2021, 158,000 tons of diesel fuel and about 15,000 tons of gasoline were used in agriculture. The Ministry recommended the agricultural producers of the Republic of Tatarstan to apply the most advanced energy-saving technologies. This includes the transition to wide-cut sowing complexes, high-performance combines, energy-saturated tractors. Only with such a technique certain results in resource saving can be achieved. Also, enterprises in the agro-industrial complex need to equip all self-propelled equipment with GPS and GLONASS navigation systems and fuel control sensors. At the meeting, it was emphasized that there is an active transition to alternative energy sources, and therefore the transition from self-propelled vehicles to gas motor fuel is extremely relevant.
Another round table was held under the topic: “Agricultural insurance as a tool to protect farmers from natural disasters. Acquired practice". It was attended by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildus Gabdrakhmanov, President of the National Union of Agricultural Insurers Korney Bizhdov, Head of the Department for the Development of Agricultural Sectors of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan Irek Sadykov and others.
“The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan treats the topic of agricultural insurance very carefully. The Ministry is doing everything possible to ensure that the farmers of Tatarstan receive affordable and massive protection. I hope that the problems this year will be solved by close contact between agricultural entrepreneurs and insurers. And, of course, outreach is a guarantee that agricultural insurance will develop, and farmers will receive guarantees and protection,” Korney Bizhdov expressed his position.
The most unusual was the round table on the theme: "APC-2030 in the eyes of scientists." It was attended by Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences, First Vice-Rector - Vice-Rector for Scientific and International Activities of the Kazan State Agrarian University Bulat Ziganshin, Head of the Center for Strategic Planning and Public Relations of the Kazan State Agrarian University Farida Nezhmetdinova, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Director of the FGBU "Management "TATMELIOVODKHOZ" Mars Khismatullin, participants in the strategic session, representatives of the real sector of the agro-industrial complex.
Here they discussed the possibilities of improving the environmental cleanliness and economic efficiency of organic waste processing, the potential and versatility of aquaculture, the prospects for the development of breeding, modern reclamation systems, as well as digital provision of agriculture in the Republic of Tatarstan.
“The idea of this conference was born from the results of the scientific strategic sessions. Diagnostic procedures were worked out, an analysis of agricultural science and education in the republic was carried out. Agrarian science must be made more practice-oriented, raised to a higher level. This will help to promote projects in the field of agro-industrial complex on the international platform,” said Farida Nezhmetdinova in conclusion.
The TatAgroExpo exhibition has already established itself as a platform for effective dialogue between agricultural producers, representatives of science, business and sectoral ministries and departments, exchange of best practices and professional development of agricultural specialists, negotiations with potential partners and presentation of new projects.
