“This year for farmers turned out to be extremely difficult. Due to the drought, the state of emergency was introduced in 42 districts of the republic. Thanks to the previously created margin of safety, the value of gross output in all categories amounted to 237.2 billion rubles, the production index was 80.1% (plant growing - 61.3%, livestock - 100.1%). Over the previous year, we retained our position in the production of milk, significantly increased in the production of eggs and lost our positions in the collection of grain, vegetables, sugar beets,” said Marat Zyabbarov.
The minister also noted that the factor of moisture availability seriously affects the harvest. One of the tasks for the near future is 100,000 hectares of regular irrigation area.
The future of agriculture cannot be imagined without information technologies and programs. This year, the ministry plans to implement 8 projects in various areas, which will raise the level of digital maturity of the agro-industrial complex to 31.4%.
“This year we face serious challenges and we are aimed at achieving ambitious goals,” Marat Zyabbarov summed up his speech.
“The Republic of Tatarstan is the leader in terms of deliveries to the region of equipment on lease and equipment over the past 5 years: the number of delivered equipment amounted to 2,500 units. In total, since 2002, Rosagroleasing has delivered over 6,000 pieces of equipment to the fields of Tatarstan. In addition, last year, for the first time in the history of Rosagroleasing, the total volume of the Company's investments in the region's agro-industrial complex exceeded 25 billion rubles,” continued Pavel Kosov.
“Tatarstan is one of the key regions in the Volga Federal District. Over the past year, there has been a significant increase in food production. At the same time, Tatarstan is always a priority in terms of the amount of state support provided. How do we plan to move in the current budget: first of all, increase the amount of concessional loans and subsidies for farmers, take measures to support household plots, work with subsidies for the construction of potato and vegetable storage facilities. In order to support our bakers and at the same time stabilize prices, we will repeat the measures of last year and will allocate subsidies per kilogram of products. Last year they were 2 rubles, this year - 2.5 rubles. I hope that by the end of March we will bring subsidies to the regions, and the bakers will receive them,” said Oksana Lut, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Russia.
“Tatarstan actively participates in all events aimed at the development of rural areas. We are commissioning schools and ennobling the territories, we will continue at the same pace,” she concluded.
The final speech was the speech of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
“Despite the weather conditions, we were able to: harvest a decent harvest, as well as maintain a leading position in animal husbandry and crop production. Today, the main task is to organize successful spring field work. It is important to complete the preparation of the machine and tractor fleet as soon as possible, it is necessary to continue work to improve land fertility,” the President noted.
“Special attention needs to be paid to the development of animal husbandry. Tatarstan is still one of the country's leaders in terms of the number of cattle. It is important not to lose ground,” Rustam Minnikhanov urged.
Further, he stressed that an important area of work is the development of rural areas and increasing the business activity of the villagers.
“Today, a whole class of strong business executives has formed in the countryside, whose projects we support every year. The villagers actively use it, there are successful examples,” the President noted.
