The Ministry discussed issues to prevent the penetration and spread of contagious animal diseases on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan

Today in the Ministry, under the chairmanship of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, a meeting of the Republican Headquarters was held to prevent the penetration and spread of contagious animal diseases on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan. It was attended by Deputy Minister Lenar Garipov, Head of the Main Department of Veterinary Medicine of the CM RT Almaz Khisamutdinov, Acting Head of the Department of Rosselkhoznadzor for the Republic of Tatarstan Ilnur Galeev. Heads of executive committees of municipalities, heads of rural settlements, heads of departments of agriculture and veterinary associations participate in the videoconferencing mode.

“Our task is to prevent the penetration of especially dangerous diseases into our republic. For example, on the territory of the Orenburg region and the Republic of Kazakhstan, an unfavorable situation is developing for foot and mouth disease. Starting today, we are announcing a month for the prevention of contagious, including especially dangerous, animal diseases,” said Almaz Khisamutdinov, Chief Veterinarian of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In this regard, the import of livestock, feed and products from the territory of the Orenburg region and Kazakhstan is prohibited. It is necessary to control the import of livestock on Mercury, as well as to track unauthorized imports. Heads of livestock enterprises must disinfect vehicles entering the territory of the enterprise, prevent unauthorized purchase of livestock from dealers, not purchase feed harvested in disadvantaged areas, quarantine imported livestock, and carry out all regrouping of livestock with the approval of the veterinary service.
