Delegation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan visited KSEU
Today the delegation of the Ministry headed by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov got acquainted with the activities of the Kazan State Power Engineering University.
Acquaintance with the university began with an inspection of the hostel for nonresident students. In total, there are 4 such modern residential buildings near the university, where more than 2000 people currently live.
Then the guests were shown the center of applied qualifications "ElectrosSkills", where students undergo practical training in the specialties of an electrician. And here the most talented students are trained for various championships of professional skills.
Then Marat Zyabbarov, together with the leadership of the educational institution, laid flowers at the memorial dedicated to power engineers. It depicts all the milestones in the formation of the energy industry of the republic.
Particular attention was paid to the center of competence and technology in the field of energy saving. Various innovative developments are presented here: from alternative energy sources to the "smart home" system.
This center was created for the following purposes:
- effective use of the scientific potential of KSEU for the development and implementation of energy saving projects;
- promotion of energy and resource saving technologies.
- popularization of the model of economical consumption of fuel and energy resources among the population and enterprises;
- research, testing and analysis of new energy-saving technologies and materials.
At the Department of Water Resources and Aquaculture, the Minister and his deputies got acquainted with a number of inhabitants of the aquatic world. There are also sturgeons, an aquarium with tilapia and much more. The department has created all the conditions for obtaining theoretical and practical knowledge in the learning process.
Issues of mutual cooperation between the University and the Ministry were discussed at the round table.
During the meeting, the head of the Department of Water Resources and Aquaculture, Marina Kalaida, proposed the creation of a new biotechnology park. Purpose: promotion of innovative environmental technologies in the educational process, focused on obtaining high-quality products of aquatic biocultures with the effective utilization of bioorganic agricultural waste.
Head of the department "Energy supply of enterprises, construction of buildings and structures" Vladimir Ilyin spoke about the energy audit conducted by the specialists of the university.
Marat Zyabbarov, in turn, noted that the Ministry pays special attention to this issue.
“We are currently conducting energy audits at several agricultural enterprises. We consider this method to be sufficiently effective for determining the energy efficiency of production. We invite you to the board to participate with your developments and innovative methods,” the minister said.
