The Ministry of Agriculture and Food discussed the issues of making changes to the State Register of breeding achievements
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food held a meeting of the regional commission on the formation of proposals for amendments to the State Register of breeding achievements approved for use in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2022 The meeting was chaired by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildus Gabdrakhmanov. Ilgiz Gareev, Head of the branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "State Export Commission" for the Republic of Tatarstan, presented the test results of new promising varieties of winter rye, winter and spring wheat, oats, peas, corn, sunflower and other agricultural crops. Following the meeting, the commission proposed for zoning in 2022 23 varieties and hybrids of domestic and foreign breeding, including: winter rye - 3 varieties, winter triticale – 1 variety, winter wheat - 1 variety, spring wheat – 4 varieties, barley – 6 varieties, oats – 1 variety, seed peas – 3 varieties, potatoes – 1 variety, corn for grain – 1 hybrid, corn for silage – 2 hybrids, sunflower – 1 hybrid, meadow fescue. It was also proposed to expand the range of cultivated varieties already included in 7 regions for agricultural producers of the republic.
