Today is the official opening of the Russian Agro-industrial exhibition "Golden Autumn"
Today, as part of the Week of the Agro–industrial Complex, the 23rd Russian agro–industrial exhibition "Golden Autumn - 2021" - the country's largest review of agricultural achievements - has started. The speakers at the event were Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Minister of Agriculture and Food Dmitry Patrushev and others. The Republic of Tatarstan is represented at the exhibition by a delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov.
In his speech, Mikhail Mishustin stressed that potential of the Russian agro-industrial complex is far from being exhausted, there are opportunities for new projects. He highlighted good results of the manufacturing sector. Thus, according to Rosstat, the production of fruit and vegetable juices has increased by more than a third this year, the production of canned food for children and mineral water has increased significantly, there is an increase in other branches of the food industry. In his speech, the Prime Minister also pointed out that for the first time the concept of rural tourism has been introduced into Russian law, which will allow promoting a new promising direction on a systematic basis.
His thought was continued by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Victoria Abramchenko.
"For two years, the world economy has been under great pressure due to the spread of coronavirus infection. Despite these global challenges, global risks, and despite the fact that this year the Russian Federation has faced large-scale problems related to adverse weather conditions, our agro-industrial complex continues to be one of the key drivers of the development of the Russian economy. In particular, this year we will set new records in several areas," she said.
The Deputy Prime Minister noted that we are talking about the collection of vegetables in winter greenhouses, the collection of rapeseed and berry products. According to her, animal breeders and fishermen show good indicators.
This year at the exhibition "Golden Autumn" Tatarstan has its stand, which presents 12 agricultural producers of the republic, among them are products of beekeepers of Tatarstan, TD Emiz, Poultry farm "Yaratel", LLC "Pestrechinka", LLC "Vamin - Tatarstan", Tatpotrebsoyuz, LLC TC "Maysky" and others. The exhibition will run until October 8. Within the framework of the event, round tables are planned on the current directions of the development of the agro-industrial complex.
