The VIII Russian Agrotechnical Forum is taking place in Moscow today — the most significant event in the field of agricultural engineering. Its participants were: First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Dzhambulat Khatuov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Alexander Morozov, General Director of JSC "Rosagroleasing" Pavel Kosov and others. The Republic of Tatarstan is represented at the event by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Rafael Fattakhov.
The Forum is the place where decisions are made on the introduction of new state support mechanisms, on building plans for the sale of products on world markets, where trends in the development of artificial intelligence and its introduction into modern agricultural machines are discussed.
It was noted at the forum that in the first half of 2021, sales of Russian agricultural machinery increased by 43%. However, the growth could have been more substantial. The restraining factors were the increase in metal prices, quotas for agricultural exports and the lack of funds for the industry support program.
