The national competition of regional food brands "Tastes of Russia" is being held in our country for the second time. This year Tatarstan is represented by 17 enterprises, including producers of meat products, national sweets, cheeses and grape drinks.
Here are our contestants:
1. Duck breast dried in Tatar. Thin slices of red fillet of dried duck breast have a rich taste and texture. Duck breast contains a lot of proteins in concentrated form, vitamins and trace elements – and corresponds to the traditions of Halal. Only natural and fresh meat of grain-fed ducks grown by farmers in ecologically clean areas of the Republic of Tatarstan without the use of hormonal drugs and growth stimulants is being produced.
2. Elabuga gingerbread. This gingerbread is made with fruit and berry filling and soaked in flavored syrup, glazed with chocolate. It has a rich taste of honey and a pleasant aroma of cinnamon. It is made of premium flour using natural oils.
4. The drink kvass Elabuga. The drink contains a dry mixture of rye and wheat flour, fermented rye malt, low-calorie blended syrup, 100% natural kvass wort and natural apple juice. Thanks to its unique composition, the Yelabuga kvass drink has a beneficial effect on the body and perfectly quenches thirst.
Also taking part in the competition: sweets "Bird of Elabuga", Laishevsky cheese from goat's milk, Tatarstan grape drink, Tatar Baly honey, duck kazylyk Bulgaria, Kazan duck, Tatar kazylyk, kaymak, katyk, honey, talkysh kaleve, tea and chak-chak Kazan.
