The application for tracking halal products SICPA became available to residents of Tatarstan

9 September 2021, Thursday

The SICPA project was presented to a wide audience within the framework of the XII International Economic Summit "Russia — the Islamic World: KazanSummit 2021". To date, the application for tracking halal product data is available for download on any platform.

SICPA carries out its activities on labeling, authentication and traceability of products for such industries as general consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, refined petroleum products and food products. When making stickers for each manufacturer and its group of products, the SICPATRACE system encrypts the necessary data from manufacturers for inspections and public control – the type and name of the product, the batch number, the expiration date, the availability of Halal certification from the accreditation center and other parameters. Thanks to this marking, any consumer can track all the parameters of the products himself.

In Tatarstan, the main types of "Halal" products were selected for labeling - duck, chicken, beef, lamb, pates, sausages, canned food, cheeses and dairy products produced by three manufacturers that make a significant contribution to the economy of the Republic – Kausar, Camembert and Agrosila.
