Breeding heifers from Germany arrived in the Muslyumovsky district
445 Holstein-Frisian heifers arrived from Germany at the dairy complex "Urazmetevo" of the agrofirm "August-Muslyum". The animals are placed on a quarantine site and undergo adaptation after moving. They spent a week on the road.
Every day, the veterinarians of the complex conduct an inspection and thermometry of the new settlers. In the coming days, the animals will be tested for tuberculosis, leukemia, brucellosis and other diseases, and then they will be vaccinated.
"The animals arrived in excellent condition, moderately well-fed. They jump around the pens, spilling out the energy accumulated during the trip. The weather is now playing them on the "hoof", since the hot period has passed. For the time being, we feed the animals with coarse feed for adaptation after moving. The animals are very curious – they are interested in everything, like children! And you can't say that in six months they will become young moms, " shared the veterinarian of the agricultural firm Dinar Ganiev.
