The equestrian sports festival "Horse Day" will be held in the Arsky district
On Saturday, September 11, a traditional holiday – Horse Day will be organized in the Arsky district in the village of Novy Kyrlay. Equestrian sports competitions are held that day. The grand opening of the event is scheduled for 11.00. The races are held with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Federation of Horse Breeding and Equestrian Sports of Tatarstan. Honored guests are expected.
The current format of equestrian competitions has received an international status, not only athletes from the Republic of Tatarstan, but also representatives of other Russian regions, as well as neighboring countries will take part in the popular 40, 80 and 120 km races. Within the framework of the event, races of thoroughbred, half-blood and local breeds and a competition for horse wrestling "Audarysh" are planned. At shorter distances, up to two kilometers, horses of the Tatar breed will compete in the "Rural Dzhigits" races. The prize fund is almost two million rubles.
There will also be unusual contests: a competition for the speed of harnessing a cart and the most beautiful cart, "Rural Sniper", "Kumysmen", a drawing contest, a master class in forging horses, belt wrestling, a Championship for eating national pastries "Echpochmak", a concert and, of course, an agricultural fair.
