Kazan State Agrarian University hosted a solemn event in honor of the Day of Knowledge on September 1
Today, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Rishat Khabipov took part in the solemn event of the Kazan Agrarian University. He congratulated the students, teachers and their parents on the start of the new academic year and wished them success in studies.
"I would like to say that agriculture in our republic is the most advanced industry, thanks to the knowledge provided by the Kazan Agrarian University. The university graduates specialists who remain in history as statesmen. These are Mintimer Sharipovich and Rustam Nurgalievich, for example. Many former graduates of the university now head municipalities of Tatarstan, agricultural enterprises. And, of course, our agricultural enterprises will be waiting for you both for practice and for work!", said Rishat Khabipov.
As part of the event, the Ministry presented letters of thanks to students, personal certificates for receiving a scholarship from the Rosselkhoznadzor, as well as personal certificates for receiving a Scholarship from the Rector.
During the holiday, the first-year students were introduced to the heads of the faculties of the university, as well as presented with the symbols of their faculties. The Deputy Minister noted that this year more than 1,200 people are going to study for the first time.
