Today, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov held a briefing on the topic: "The results of the harvesting campaign 2021 and grant support for agricultural producers of the Republic of Tatarstan".
The republic has almost completed the harvesting of grain crops, the harvest of which was formed under abnormal weather conditions. According to the operational data of the republic's bins, 2, 3 million tons of grain were received. The average yield is 15.4 c / ha. The largest contribution, over 100 thousand tons each, was made by Alekseevsky, Chistopol, Arsky districts.
With the completion of grain harvesting, the work in the fields does not end. We selectively started harvesting corn for grain, harvesting sugar beet. In addition, work is underway in the fields for the harvest of 2022.
Marat Zyabbarov also touched upon the topic of state support for agricultural enterprises at the briefing.
"Farms are developing most intensively in our republic, with an annual growth of gross output by 8-10%, this is largely due to their extensive state support. In Tatarstan, the activity of agricultural producers is always great, farmers are more interested in programs that support dairy farming, breeding of cattle, sheep and poultry, " the minister said.
Of course, the journalists were interested in the issues of pricing and availability of vegetables.
"We plan to regulate prices for potatoes and vegetables at the expense of the upcoming agricultural fairs. The harvesting of potatoes and vegetables has begun. And already today, products from our fields are sold at small fairs that function for almost a month, " the head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan said.
