A delegation from Tatarstan is also taking part in the event, headed by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan-Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov.

In Russia, the harvesting campaign is in full swing. This year, the southern regions of the country have demonstrated record indicators of grain production, a significant yield increase in Siberia. Despite the unfavorable weather conditions in some regions, the overall result promises to be one of the best in the history of Russia. This is largely ensured by the use of modern technologies in crop production, the use of highly efficient equipment and advanced developments of domestic breeders.

The Ministry of Agriculture gathered all the main achievements of the domestic agro-industrial complex at the annual exhibition "All-Russian Field Day", which opened today in the Sverdlovsk region. This year, a large-scale open-air exhibition complex is located on an area of 80 hectares.

The results of the breeding work are presented in experimental fields, where more than 600 varieties and hybrids of wheat, barley, oats, rapeseed, peas, corn, potatoes, as well as other crops, including those uncharacteristic for the climatic zone of the Urals, are sown. In addition, you can get acquainted with new products in the field of agrochemistry and plant protection at the exhibition. Advanced samples of agricultural machinery and equipment are demonstrated at landfill sites.

Experts discuss a wide range of issues related to increasing soil fertility and land reclamation, the production of organic products, the digital transformation of the agro-industrial complex, agricultural science and other relevant topics. The strategic objective of the crop production industry is to further increase the production of basic crops, improve the quality and competitiveness of domestic products in Russia and the world. This year, the Ministry of Agriculture expects positive dynamics in the development of agriculture, which will fully meet the domestic needs of the country in key types of food and maintain a high export potential.

The exhibition "All-Russian Field Day" will last until August 14.
