The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan discussed the preparation for the competition of regional food brands "Tastes of Russia"
Today, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, where organizational issues of the National Competition of regional food brands "Tastes of Russia" were discussed. The meeting was chaired by Oksana Lut, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. The Republic of Tatarstan was represented at the meeting by the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan Nail Zalakov and the head of projects of JSC RATSIN for the export of halal products Rustam Gainullov.
The contest "Tastes of Russia" was developed in order to support and develop rural areas and regional entrepreneurship in the field of agro-industrial complex. The mission of the contest is to introduce consumers to the variety of tastes of Russia and to show the potential for the development of regional food brands.
The participants of the competition can be: management bodies of the agro-industrial complex of the subjects of the Russian Federation, industry unions and associations of producers, as well as agricultural consumer cooperatives. Applications for participation are accepted until September 1.
