"We also want to establish cooperative relations. For example, it would be possible to import late potatoes to Kazakhstan from the Republic of Tatarstan," Kairat Torebayev said.

According to the results of 2020, the export of products from the Republic of Tatarstan to Kazakhstan amounted to 38.8 million US dollars. The main share of 36.7% are products for making sauces. The Iranian delegation was headed by the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Russian Federation, Kazem Jalali.

"I would like to note that relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation are developing very well. In 2020, we saw a very good leap in our trade and economic relations. The volume of trade turnover between our countries increased by 44 %, exports to Russia from Iran had an increase of about 105 %. Tatarstan also has plans. Next year we want to take part in the agricultural exhibition. In addition, I think that we can discuss the joint production, " he commented.

The discussions did not end there.

According to the results of the past year, we managed to increase the export of these products and reach the figure of $ 2.5 million, the task for the current year is to increase the export of such products to $ 5 million," Marat Zyabbarov said at a meeting with Renat Shigapov, Vice President of the State Enterprise "RESOURCE".

"Due to the high level of demand for poultry meat and halal products, the Persian Gulf countries are a priority for our company. For this reason, we pay even closer attention to the development of halal production, " he agreed with the minister.
