Now is the most suitable time for harvesting branch feed. Employees of many organizations and institutions of the district began actively harvesting feed and herbs to help the livestock industry.
In this hot, dry summer, harvesting good food is accompanied with certain difficulties. Therefore, its value is very high.
This green food is especially useful for young animals. Rich in vitamins, it is used to improve health of calves. Sheep and goats also eat it.
Branch feed is harvested from linden, birch, aspen, acacia, maple, ash, elm and poplar. But bird cherry and wolfberry can not be used. Nettle, chamomile, alfalfa, and oregano are also good.
It is planned to prepare at least 26,740 pairs of branch feed, 3,090 bundles of vitamin herbs in the district. At the moment, the plan is completed by one third.
