The livestock of agricultural firms of the Tetyushsky district continues to be replenished with high-yielding breeds.

Recently, 204 heifers of the Holstein-Frisian breed from Denmark were brought to the site of the dairy complex of the agricultural company "Tatarstan". According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, now the total number of breeding heifers in the Tetyushsky district is more than 1,500 animals. The potential of each of them is more than 10 thousand kg of milk per year. Currently, 62957 tons of milk are produced in Tetyushy. The Holstein breed of cows is considered the highest-yielding in the world, so in the future they plan to increase the amount of milk produced here. The highest milk yields and product quality allowed this breed to win a leading place on dairy farms of the republic.

"The animals arrived in excellent condition. They feel well, eat and relax on the farm. Currently, the installation of modern milking equipment of Italian production is underway, which will allow obtaining milk of the highest quality, while preserving health of animals, " said Irek Sadriev, head of the Department of Agriculture and Food of the Tetyushsky district.
