The Ministry discussed the possibility of building a seed plant
A subsidiary of Saatbau Linz plans to build a seed plant in the Republic of Tatarstan. Representatives of the company told about this today at a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov.
The discussion was attended by Deputy Minister Ildus Gabdrakhmanov, General Director of JSC "RATSIN" Denis Samodurov, General Director of LLC "Saatbau Rus" Andrey Ardyshev, Commissioner of the Federal State of Thuringia in the Russian Federation Guzel Shaikhullina and others.
The company is engaged in breeding, seed production and sale of seeds of agricultural crops. Saatbau is the originator of more than 900 varieties of 16 crops. More than 80 varieties have been registered in Russia.
Tatarstan is attractive due to its favorable geographical location and investment climate. The plant is planned to be built on the territory of the SEZ "Alabuga". The production capacity is 30 thousand tons of seeds per year. If all the work goes according to schedule, the seed plant can be put into operation at the end of next year.
