Appeal of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia
The Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia invites citizens to participate more actively in the vaccination campaign against COVID-19.
"For more than a year, Russia has been living and working in a pandemic. We overcame not only several waves of a new viral infection, but also defeated the fear that threatened to engulf the entire society, paralyzing the will of people.
Actions of the President and the Government helped the economy to stay afloat. The labor market is recovering, enterprises have started working at full capacity again.
But the return of confidence should not turn into self-confidence. The virus changes its forms.
Russian biologists have developed and now produce vaccines that provide real help to people, help to avoid the disease or mitigate its severity. Vaccinations help to form a collective immunity, which should reduce the damage of the virus. But success is possible only with our common efforts. Now Russian medical institutions provide an opportunity to get vaccinated for free - an opportunity that citizens of many other countries are deprived of, " the Appeal says.
