The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Corporation of Small and Medium-sized enterprises, SME Bank, the Union of consumer cooperation organizations of the Republic of Tatarstan and the branch union of producers and processors of vegetable raw materials signed a roadmap on the development of harvesting and processing centers of berry crops, vegetable raw materials. The project will be supervised by the State Budgetary Institution "Competence Center for the Development of Agricultural Cooperation in the Republic of Tatarstan". They will organize work to attract active rural residents and will assist in the preparation of business plans and further support of entrepreneurs.
A republican program for the cultivation, harvesting and processing of plant raw materials will be developed. The roadmap will allow Tatarstan producers to get priority in loans and credit-guarantee and leasing support. Within the framework of the agreement, the Corporation of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises will help entrepreneurs in organizing export supplies and develop a standard ready-made solution for growing medicinal herbs for small businesses. For example, the agricultural processing consumer cooperative "Procurement" of Laishevsky district plans to increase the volume of production by 9 times and achieve revenue of 1.9 billion rubles due to the cultivation of raw materials by new members of the cooperative.
"In order to scale production and strengthen the brand's position in the Russian market, it is planned to attract small businesses for the production and procurement of raw materials, offering them proven technology, seeds and seedlings. The project will have financial and guarantee support for the expansion of sales markets, " says Ramil Yarullin, President of the branch union of producers and processors of vegetable raw materials, chairman of the Procurement cooperative.
