The best animal breeders from 63 regions of the country gathered in Tatarstan

Today in Tatarstan, the opening of the 2nd All-Russian competition of zootechnicians-breeders of dairy and meat cattle breeding took place.  The event was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Lenar Garipov, Director of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Breeding of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Dmitry Butusov, Head of the Main State Agricultural Department of Breeding in Animal Husbandry of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Rishat Zaripov, General Director of JSC GPP "Elite" Fannur Zaripov, head of the Main Veterinary Department of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan Almaz Khisamutdinov and other responsible persons.

Marat Zyabbarov addressed the participants on behalf of the President of the Republic .

"Our common goal is to make the agro-industrial complex of the republic a highly efficient and competitive industry, to ensure that life of the villagers meets the most modern standards and, at the same time, to preserve the unique culture, traditions, customs and special way of a rural life. All this is in our power, because in agriculture there are extraordinary people who have diligence, hard work and boundless love for their native land, who are able to carefully pass this love from generation to generation, to children, grandchildren and great - grandchildren," he said.

Recall that the competition is held from 7 to 11 June on the basis of the State Enterprise "Elite". 77 contestants from 63 regions of Russia take part in the competition. The champion of the previous competition can only take part in judging as an expert.

The competition is held in three stages, covering complex and important breeding work to obtain highly productive animals. Participants will demonstrate the ability to conduct automated breeding records, as well as analyze the documents and the exterior of the animals.

According to the results of the competition, the winners will be awarded in the following categories: champion of the competition "Zootechnician-breeder 2021", winners of the categories "Practical work with automated databases", "Assessment of a breeding value of animals", "Theoretical knowledge", "Veteran of Zootechnical Service", "Future breeder", "For contribution to the development of breeding" and "With love for work", as well as the passing cup named after D. A. Kislovsky.
