News from the fields: Farmers of 5 districts completed sowing of spring crops
The sowing campaign is coming to an end. Farmers of the republic try not to miss a single free minute.
Of the upcoming spring sowing volumes of 2.8 million hectares, 90% were sown.
Of these, spring and grain crops - 1036.5 hectares
Spring wheat - 401.8 thousand hectares
Barley - 449.3 thousand hectares
Corn for grain – 50 thousand hectares
Sugar beet – 51.1 thousand hectares
Potatoes – 1,4 thousand hectares
Rapeseed – 92.3 thousand hectares
Sunflower – 122.4 thousand hectares
According to the operational data of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, farmers of Aksubaevsky, Zainsky, Nizhnekamsk, Nurlatsky and Tetyushsky districts completed the sowing of spring grain crops. Bugulminsky (99%), Yutazinsky (99%), Bavlinsky (98%), Muslyumovsky (98%), Tukayevsky (98%), Cheremshansky (98%), Buinsky (97%), Elabuga (97%), Spassky (96%), Chistopolsky (96%), Menzelinsky (95%), Atninsky (94%), Almetyevsky (93%), Sarmanovsky (93%), Alkeevsky (92%), Baltasinsky (92%) and Rybno-Slobodsky (91%) districts will finish soon.
Sugar beet was sown by farmers of Apastovsky, Bugulminsky, Buinsky, Drozhzhanovsky, Zainsky, Kaibitsky, Muslyumovsky, Sarmanovsky, Tetyushsky and Tukayevsky districts. Menzelinsky district is close to complete (94%).
