Immediately upon arrival in Chistopol, Marat Zyabarov met with heads of rural settlements, heads of farms, farmers, visited the exhibition of agricultural products of the district.
The head of the district agricultural administration, Alexander Romadanovsky, reported on the situation with the sowing campaign. During his speech, he noted that sowing campaign in the district is almost completed. Almost 90 percent of the planned area has already been sown.
Marat Zyabbarov said that this year is particularly good for the district. One of the major investors, who previously worked here, has recently become more active: changes have affected equipment, seeds, and technologies. Chistopol soil is one of the best, besides, there is an impressive work on fertilizers, harvesting of high-quality seed material and in other areas.
During the meeting, the Minister expressed caution about the abnormal heat in the region.
"The abnormal heat is very alarming and frightening for all of us. Work on fields does not stop, there is still a little moisture in the soil. But if the dry and windy weather persists for a long time, it can have a negative impact on seedlings. The weather doesn't depend on us, and we can't predict how it will change. Now we are working with farms on insurance issues. We hope that in the near future it will rain. Today, the situation remains tense, " he said.
At the end of the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister spoke about the implementation of state programs to support agricultural producers and answered questions of managers and specialists of farms.
