500 students of agricultural universities of Russia gathered at the VIII-th open Festival of student creativity “Kazan-2021”

Today, the Volga Region Academy of Culture and Sports hosted an opening ceremony of the VIII-th open Festival of student creativity among the universities of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia "Kazan-2021".

The organizers are the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, the Association "Agroeducation" and agricultural universities of the republic. The festival will be held on the basis of the Kazan State Agrarian University and the Kazan State Academy of Veterinary Medicine. This year, it is attended by about 500 people from 38 agricultural universities in Russia.

The event began with a minute of silence as a sign of mourning for the students and teachers of school No. 175.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov addressed the students with a welcoming speech.

"Kazan is one of the largest centers of students. The republic has a great creative and intellectual potential, and the opportunities for their implementation are increasing every day", he said.

Rectors Ayrat Valiev and Rustam Ravilov spoke on behalf of the administration of agricultural universities. During their speeches, they noted that the students became participants of an unusual festival of student creativity. And participating in it is much more important than winning.

"We would like each of you at this festival to be able to show yourself, show your emotions, reveal your talent and exchange experiences," they said.

Participants of the festival will have to compete in seven areas: vocal, dance, music, theater, original genre, art, journalism and media.

The performances of groups will be evaluated by a professional jury, which includes leading figures of art, culture, etc.

The event ended with musical performances that demonstrated the cultural diversity of the capital of Tatarstan and Russia.
