This was reported in the Menzelinsky district during the zonal seminar-meeting "High-quality feed and a solid forage base - the key to high productivity of animals." The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Lenar Garipov, the head of the Menzelinsky district Aidar Salakhov, the deputy head of the management of pedigree business of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Gelus Bayazitov and other responsible persons.
At the seminar, the participants discussed the issues of milk production, dairy farming culture, modern technology for the procurement of high-quality feed, itsimpact on animal productivity, and others.
Lenar Garipov made an analysis of the development of livestock industries in the republic for the 1st quarter of this year.
“For the 1st quarter, 349 thousand tons of milk were produced in the republic (103% by 2020). Agricultural enterprises have grown 102 thousand tons of livestock and poultry (98% to last year). For the 1st quarter of 2021, 55.9 thousand tons of milk were produced in 9 districts of the Menzelinsky zone. In terms of cattle livestock from 9 districts of this zone, only three districts have a positive trend towards the level of 2020 and by the beginning of the year. These are Yelabuga, Aktanysh and Mendeleevsky districts. A positive trend towards the restoration of livestock is observed in Menzelinsky (plus 373 heads by the beginning of the year), Nizhnekamsk (plus 110 heads), in Muslyumovsky and Mendeleevsky districts (plus 69 and 62 heads), ”he said.
During his speech, the Deputy Minister asked for more control over herd management and livestock feeding.
“During the spring field work, it is necessary to pay special attention to the observance of the forage harvesting technology. High-quality feed i provided high milk yields and good gains in live weight of animals, ”he said.
Gelus Bayazitov spoke about the pace of digitalization of dairy farming in the regions of the republic.
The practical part of the seminar was held on the basis of Kalmurzino LLC. The participants of the seminar got acquainted with the technologies of keeping and feeding calves up to 3 and 6 months of age, examined the forage harvesting equipment.
