Students of Kazan Agrarian University study the activities of the branch of "Rosselkhoztsentr"
1st year students of the magistracy of the Kazan Agrarian University began the practical training in the branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Rosselkhoztsentr" in the Republic of Tatarstan.
The head of the branch Vitaly Novichkov met with the trainees. He told the students about the work of the branch and the intricacies of the profession of an agronomist, shared his experience.
“Agronomist is one of the most important specialties in the countryside. Working at the farm, representatives of this profession will have to organize and carry out work on the production of crop products. The knowledge and skills acquired at the university and during the internship will be useful to you in your future work, ”he said.
The deputy head of the branch, Rafis Khabibullin, introduced future specialists to the work of the seed production department. He told how the analysis for sowing and varietal qualities of seeds is carried out, explained the conditions and rules for issuing certificates for agricultural seeds in the voluntary certification system "Rosselkhoztsentr".
The deputy head of the branch, Lyubov Zanina, shared her knowledge about work of the plant protection department, the method of phytosanitary monitoring, the identification of pests and diseases on crops, and the tuber analysis.
And the chief microbiologist of the branch, Yulia Fedorova, introduced the children to the work of the technological and analytical laboratory, talked about the production of biological plant protection products and entomophages.
During the practice, students, together with the specialists of the branch, will take part in the approbation of seed crops and phytosanitary monitoring of agricultural crops, in the technological and analytical laboratory - in the production of biological agents of plants and entomophages.
“The practice began with the distribution of departments. The priority was given to our desires and interest in a certain job. The employees of the enterprise told what we would be doing and how during the practice the range of tasks would grow.
