The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan discussed issues of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Tatarstan
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov met with a delegation from the Kyrgyz Republic led by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Gulnara-Klara Samat in order to identify promising areas of cooperation.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Ministers of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marsel Makhmutov, Rafael Fattakhov, project manager for the export of Halal products of Ratsin JSC Rustem Gainullov, General Director of RIVC JSC Niyaz Khaliullin and other responsible persons.
Opening the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov spoke about the peculiarities of the agro-industrial complex of Tatarstan and possible areas for cooperation.
The export of products from the Republic of Tatarstan to the Kyrgyz Republic at the end of 2020 amounted to 3.3 million US dollars. The main share (46%) falls on sunflower oil - 1.7 thousand tons were supplied for 1.5 million US dollars. Second place in terms of exports is taken by products for making sauces, biscuits, waffles and other confectionery products.
“The potential of the Republic of Tatarstan to increase the volume of supplies is significant, including the potential supply of high-quality products manufactured according to Halal standards. Last year we managed to increase the export of these products and reach $ 2.5 million, ”said Marat Zyabbarov.
The Republic of Tatarstan can export cereal seeds, cereals, legumes, flax, mustard, potatoes, sunflower oil, meal, granulated beet pulp, sugar, flour, and Tatarstan also offers for export dairy products produced by enterprises of the republic and agricultural machinery.
“We are ready to implement the joint investment projects for the production of high-margin, export-oriented products, such as deep processing of grain and milk. Since our republic is the leader in Russia in milk production, we are interested in a co-investor who, along with us, will participate in the project, ”the minister added.
The guests were especially interested in the digitalization of the agro-industrial complex, the Agropoliya information platform. General Director of RIVC JSC Niyaz Khaliullin spoke about the work of the Agroonline portal and online school for agribusiness, which allows you to get education anywhere in the world.
At the end of the meeting, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov presented to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Russian Federation Gulnara-Klara Samat a book written for the 100th anniversary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan “Age of trials and victories. Stories of people and earth ”.
