The Farmer's School project completed in Tatarstan
In the Republic of Tatarstan, the implementation of a large-scale educational project "Farmer's School" has been completed. Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Rishat Khabipov, Director of the Tatarstan branch of JSC Rosselkhozbank Lyalya Kudermetova, Rector of Kazan State Agrarian University Ayrat Valiev took part in the solemn ceremony of presenting state diplomas.
“Farming is a way of life, it is a whole movement. And I consider you to be the successors of the farming movement of the Republic of Tatarstan, heroes of our time. The stage that you have passed is a small part; you have a large layer of work ahead of you. Nevertheless, in the republic there are a lot of successful farmers, successful entrepreneurs who will be able to provide you with all-round support, ”said Deputy Minister of Agriculture Rishat Khabipov in his welcoming speech.
“The Farmer's School project is a new and unique tool that allowed retraining in important areas of doing business. It was held in only 15 regions, so we can easily say that you are the best of the best throughout Russia. You are the main link in agriculture. Thanks to you, farmers, the population of our republic receives high-quality food products, and agriculture is one of the most promising and developed industries. I wish you to successfully implement new business ideas and, most importantly, to enjoy your business, ”Lyalya Kudermetova, Director of the Tatarstan branch of Rosselkhozbank JSC, congratulated on successful training.
The Farmer's School has shown good results. As a result of a difficult selection, 24 people were able to pass the training. I think such projects should be further developed, ”stressed the rector of Kazan State Agrarian University Airat Valiev.
In Tatarstan, the Farmer's School project was implemented for the first time. Training in the areas "Dairy and meat cattle breeding" and "Poultry breeding" took place at the Kazan State Agrarian University with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Tatarstan branch of JSC "Rosselkhozbank".
Within two months, the participants received theoretical and practical knowledge. They studied the legal aspects of doing business, accounting and reporting, product certification, foreign farming experience, effective sales methods, increased financial literacy, drew up a business plan and successfully presented it, studied branding and promotion, launching an advertising campaign, creating a website and mobile applications, specifics of working with federal and regional retail chains, access to electronic trading platforms, including the marketplaces of the Russian Agricultural Bank "Svoe Rodnoe" and "Svoe Farmerstvo". Theoretical knowledge was consolidated in practical classes, which were held at the leading agricultural enterprises of the republic.
