Poultry farmers have difficult times as well

20 April 2021, Tuesday

The villagers have begun a hot season: purchase of young poultry for seasonal rearing.

The poultry farm "Barieva R." in Arsk district has started the season for growing young poultry.

“We are from the village of Old Masra,” says a friendly woman, “we came here with my son, bought forty twenty-seven-day-old broilers. And also some compound feed. It’s going to be fun soon, so we decided to come early. We have a lot of experience.

There is no doubt that it will be a rush: last year, in May, a line of cars and vans stretched from the farm gate to the water pump, and this is about a kilometer. Spring demand for young poultry in the village is great.

“In 2020, we sold to the population 100 thousand broilers, 30 thousand ducklings and goslings,” says the head of the farm Razima Barieva. - This year we plan to increase sales to 150 thousand heads.

So to increase production by Barievs, there is a new poultry house, built last year with grant support from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan. The farm won the competition, receiving 3 million rubles of budget support. By adding the same amount of credit, the farmers built a poultry house for 15 thousand heads, and also purchased and installed a new boiler house.

“We also bought a gazelle car, two tractors and a refrigerator,” says the spouse of the head of the farm, Radik Rustamovich. - Hired another worker.

Young poultry of the Bariev farm is famous for its quality. And it is not surprising: after all, both Razima and Radik from childhood were associated with a bird: they looked after, fed, watered. And when they created a farm, they did not stop there: they continue to study, widen their knowledge.

- We always tell customers: it is important to buy healthy young animals, and in the first week, when the bird is in a state of stress, surround it with maximum attention: keep the temperature in the room at 20-23 degrees, do not forget to turn on the ventilation, change the water daily in the drinker - it must be clean, - says Radik Rustamovich. - And you should also buy some compound feed that is used on the farm - this way the bird will more easily survive the stressful period. Protect the bird from heat in summer.

At the farm all technological parameters are maintained, the bird is routinely vaccinated, receives the required vitamins, and sanitary rules are observed. Bulat's son also joined the parents' business: he is responsible for supplies and sales.
