33 schoolchildren from Tatarstan became winners of the republican Olympiad of young inventors

At the Kazan State Agrarian University with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Council of the public organization "Society of Inventors and Rationalizers of the Republic of Tatarstan" the final stage of the republican Olympiad of young inventors "My Little Homeland" had passed.

More than 70 people from all over the republic have applied for participation in the Olympiad.

54 schoolchildren participated in the final, and the largest number of projects were presented by students of educational institutions of Bugulminsky, Muslyumovsky, Alkeevsky, Yutazinsky, Aktanyshsky, Kamsko-Ustinsky, Aznakaevsky, Aksubaevsky, Zelenodolsky, Agryzsky districts, Kazan.

Welcoming young inventors within the walls of the university, Vice-Rector for Infrastructure Development and Production Activities of KSAU Nail Khamidullin and Head of the Center for Pre-University Education and Employment of Graduates Guzel Fassakhova wished the participants success in presenting their projects and technical solutions.

The Olympiad was held in eight nominations: "My Little Homeland", "Medicine and Veterinary Medicine", "Industrial Technologies and Robotics", "Energy", "Technology and Education", "Communications and Telecommunications", "Social Innovations", "Innovative Technologies in plant growing ".

Among the developments that schoolchildren presented were models of robotics, tractors and mowers, manual agricultural machinery, interactive teaching aids, rehabilitation tools for people with disabilities, innovative greenhouses, waste collection and disposal systems and other projects.

Ainur Altynbaev from the village of Pobeda, Aznakayevsky district, took part in the Olympiad for the first time and presented to the jury a device for collecting the Colorado potato beetle "HLS1".

“I invented this device after I noticed how difficult it was for my parents and grandmother to cope with them and I decided to come up with a device that would make life easier for my parents,” says the young inventor.

Ainur took his old bicycle as a basis for the device, installed a stand, where special brushes were located. It begins to spin thanks to a screwdriver when you press the bicycle brake lever. A cardboard box built into the device is used as a tray.

33 students became prize winners of the Olympiad, who took 1,2, 3 places, all of them were awarded with university diplomas and valuable prizes.
