There are heifers from Germany in Muslyumovsky district
The livestock of the August-Agro farms is replenished with highly yielding breeds; 402 Holstein-Friesian heifers from Germany were brought to the quarantine site of the Urazmetyevo dairy complex located in the Muslyumovsky district. According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, now the total livestock on the farm is 1439 animals.
“The heifers arrived in excellent condition. They feel great, they eat well and have rest. We carry out all the necessary veterinary measures, vaccinations, diagnostic tests, thermometry, "- said Tatyana Bogomolova, senior veterinarian at Urazmetyevo MTC.
MTС "Urazmetyevo" is a new modern complex, equipped with robotic milking programs, self-propelled mixer-distributors and automatic feed pushers. The farm provides the automatic regulation of the microclimate in the barns using cross-ventilation, which avoids temperature stresses. The applied technologies can significantly reduce the influence of the human factor, minimize production variations, eliminate errors and inaccuracies.
The Holstein breed of cows is considered the highest yielding in the world. The highest milk yield and product quality allowed this breed to win today a leading place in the dairy farms of the republic.
