Today the Bakery and Confectionery Plant has opened a new line for the production of molded rye-wheat breads. This was the first stage of a large-scale project to modernize and reconstruct the production facilities of Bakery and Confectionery Plant JSC (part of the Ak Bars Holding Group of Companies), which was successfully implemented with the strategic financial support of SMP Bank. The cost of installation and commissioning of the line made up 56.5 million rubles. The total modernization budget is estimated at 254 million rubles.

The design capacity of the plant for the production of bakery products as a result of the implementation of the entire project will be 170 tons, which will make the Ak Bars holding a leader in the bakery industry.

“This year we will launch 5 lines. Today we launched a line with a production capacity of 25 tons of bread per day. We supply bread all over Tatarstan, there are about 2,000 stores. The most important thing is that we have launched a new assortment and will soon be able to see it on store shelves, these are sourdough bread and products that will be of interest to children. We are happy to make products for children”, said Bulat Kutdusov, General Director of BPC.

The implementation of such a large-scale and significant for Tatarstan project became possible thanks to the preferential investment loan approved by SMP Bank within the framework of the state program for the construction, reconstruction and modernization of enterprises of the flour and cereals, bakery, confectionery, starch industry.

First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Nail Zalakov noted that the ministry is pleased with the fact that the townspeople will be provided with healthy, tasty and inexpensive bread. The bakery and confectionery plant, like many of our republican agricultural producers, is socially oriented. The plant has more than 100 years of history and it is a brand that all Tatarstan citizens know.
