In the Alkeevsky district, a meeting with the district's agrarians took place on a field near the village of Yukhmachi. The head of the district, Alexander Nikoshin, said that the total area of farmland in the district is 114.8 thousand hectares, including 97,050 thousand hectares of arable land. It is planned to sow 42.1 thousand with spring crops. ha. 24.3 thousand hectares have been allocated for winter crops. Work is actively underway to feed winter crops. By the beginning of the sowing campaign, regional farmers have the required amount of seeds (6.8 thousand tons) available. All the equipment that will be used in the field work has also been prepared. These are 224 tractors, 82 seeders, including 16 seeding complexes. The plan for the accumulation of mineral fertilizers was fulfilled, contracts for the purchase of fuel and lubricants were drawn up.
Then the minister met with the farmers of the Spassky region in the field near the Bread Museum. The head of the Department of Agriculture of the district Dmitry Savinov said that for the harvest of 2021, winter crops were sown on an area of 20,849 hectares. This year it is planned to sow grain crops on an area of 48,043 hectares, oilseeds - 15,502 hectares, fodder crops - 5193 hectares. Currently, in the fields, as in many areas, work is underway to feed perennial grasses and winter crops. Accumulated mineral fertilizers for the harvest in 2021 - 55.4 kg.d./ha. 304 tractors will be involved in field work, including 57 energy-intensive and 15 sowing complexes.
