Farmers of Tatarstan are actively preparing for the sowing campaign
In preparation for the sowing campaign, federal and republican funds are to be brought to the farmers. Farms have already received 800 million rubles, and another 2.3 billion rubles will be allocated in the near future. Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov spoke about this today at a meeting in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The meeting was held by videoconference with all municipalities by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The meeting was attended by the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin.
Marat Zyabbarov noted that the sowing campaign will begin in a month. The republic is fully provided with seeds. Also, farms have accumulated 167 thousand tons of the active substance of fertilizers or 60.8 kg / ha (+13.6 by 2020). More than 80 kg of fertilizers have been accumulated in Tetyushsky (101 kg a.i. / ha), Zainsky (98), Menzelinsky districts (97). Poor work is being done in Verkhneuslonskiy (37), Zelenodolskiy (36), Agryzskiy (11) districts. The minister called on the leaders of the districts to strengthen work in this direction.
The farms continue to prepare equipment for field work and aggregate it. From 5 to 9 April it is planned to carry out a commission acceptance of the readiness of the machine and tractor fleet for spring field work.
In the structure of crops, the republic has 865 thousand hectares of forage crops or 26% of arable land. The minister instructed the heads of the regional agricultural administrations to analyze the use of the forage wedge in the context of farms within a week, as well as develop an action plan to improve the structure of sown areas.
Separately, Marat Zyabbarov dwelled on the results of the livestock industry in January-February this year. During the reporting period, agricultural producers earned 16.8 billion rubles,about 13 billion of which are from animal husbandry, with an increase of 9% compared to the previous year. More than 66 thousand tons of livestock and poultry were grown, sales proceeds amounted to 6.5 billion rubles with an increase of 9%.
The head of the department noted that the production of cattle meat requires special attention. In the republic, producers were unable to reach the last year's volumes, having reduced the indicators by 1%. Negative dynamics was recorded in Aksubaevsky, Spassky, Menzelinsky, Kamsko-Ustinsky districts.
In terms of milk production, the dynamics for 2 months is stable and positive. More than 227 thousand tons of milk were produced (plus 5.5 thousand tons). 209 thousand tons of raw materials were sold with revenues of 5.4 billion rubles. The growth was 5%. The high profitability is also facilitated by favorable purchase prices - 27 rubles 16 kopecks, which is more than 1 ruble higher than last year's figure.
Rustam Minnikhanov, in turn, noted that dairy farming has always been and remains the main source of income in the countryside, and instructed to keep this issue under constant control.
