The trade union of workers of the agro-industrial complex has achieved significant benefits and guarantees when concluding collective agreements

This was announced during a conference with the participation of the staff of LLC "Buinsky Sugar". The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Gafarov, Chairman of the Tatarstan Republican Organization of the Trade Union of Workers of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Russian Federation Farida Garifullina and Director of Buinsky Sugar LLC.

The conference participants discussed the implementation of the activities of the current collective agreement between the administration and the labor collective.

Valery Pogrebnoy addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. He gave a detailed analysis of the work of the enterprise in 2020.

“Over the past year, good results have been achieved in all indicators. The average salary was 31,826 rubles, which is 18% higher than in 2019. Work at the enterprise is based on social partnership between the management of the enterprise and the trade union organization. The enterprise successfully fulfills all obligations of the collective agreement to ensure social guarantees and benefits for each employee, as well as their family members. The employees are provided with material assistance in case of a child birth, registration of marriage and the death of close relatives, employee's long-term illness, compensation for treatment, reimbursement of the cost of a sanatorium-resort voucher. In addition, the plant carries out mass cultural and recreation work, contracts have been concluded for the provision of a pool and ice palace services. An annual periodic medical examination of workers engaged in heavy work and work in harmful and hazardous working conditions has been organized, ”he said.

At workplaces, briefings, training and testing of knowledge on labor protection of each employee were carried out. The allocations for labor protection are growing every year. In 2020, this amount was about 3 million rubles. The result of this work is the absence of severe cases of industrial injuries at the enterprise.

Concluding his speech, he spoke about upcoming plans, thanked the workers for the high results achieved and presented well-deserved awards.

During the conference, Deputy Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Gafarov and Chairman of the Tatarstan Republican Organization of the Trade Union of Workers of the AIC of the Russian Federation Farida Garifullina spoke about the activities of the trade unions of the Republic of Tatarstan.

“The basis for the collective agreements at the enterprises of the agro-industrial complex is the Sectoral Agreement on the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2019-2021, as well as the joint Resolution of the Board of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Presidium of the republican organization of the trade union “On the conclusion of collective agreements and agreements for 2020 ”. So, in 2020, trade union bodies provided legal assistance in the development of 85 collective agreements and local regulations. Examination of 45 collective agreements was carried out. Despite financial difficulties at enterprises, social guarantees did not decrease during 2020. Trade union committees, when concluding collective agreements, sought significant benefits and guarantees for employees, including: the provision of additional paid vacations, financing of the health improvement of workers and their families, additional payments for mentoring, additional cash payments to parents at the birth of a child, the stay of children in health camps, lump sum payments for retirement in the army.
