Today the Chairman of the Board of JSC "Rosselkhozbank" Boris Listov and Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Oksana Lut gave a ceremonial start to the project of the bank "School of the Farmer", which provides all the necessary knowledge to start and run a profitable business in agriculture.
The solemn event in Tatarstan was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, Director of the Tatarstan branch of Rosselkhozbank Lyalya Kudermetova, Rector of Kazan State Agrarian University Airat Valiev.
Training in Tatarstan will take place at the Kazan State Agrarian University. “Kazan Agrarian University since its foundation in 1922 has trained tens of thousands of specialists in agriculture and forestry. Among its graduates there are many respected persons in the republic and abroad, including the first President of Tatarstan Mintimer Sharipovich and the current President Rustam Nurgalievich. The university has a rich scientific potential and a strong material and technical base, which will be fully involved in the educational process, ”said Marat Zyabbarov.
The training participants passed a competitive selection of planned business projects according to 5 evaluation criteria, 37 applications were submitted for the competition, the experts selected the best 22 projects. The winners will undergo two-month training under the Agrobusiness of Farming Curriculum, which includes professional retraining in Dairy and Meat Cattle Breeding, Poultry, with the issuance of a state diploma.
The head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan recalled that in 1991 the first 254 farms were created in the region, now there are more than 4 thousand farmers. Together with the personal subsidiary plots of citizens, they produce half of the gross agricultural output of the republic. There are successful examples of the work of rural entrepreneurs in every municipal district of the republic. The state support of small forms of business is over 2 billion rubles annually. Over the past 9 years, 1,384 farmers have received grants alone for 4 billion rubles, mainly for the implementation of business projects in animal husbandry. The most voluminous funds - 900 million rubles for 155 farmers - were allocated last year.
Practical exercises will be held on the territory of farmers who, having started their activities from scratch, with the help of state support, have successfully implemented their projects and have become successful entrepreneurs. These are farmers Zaripov from Laishevsky district, Latypov (robotic farm in Vysokogorsky district), Lotfullin (Zelenodolsky district) and cooperatives "Bolshaya Elga" of Rybno-Slobodsky district, "Kausar" of Laishevsky, who also received grants for the development of cooperation and have a complete cycle from production, processing and sales.
“Each of them has the most advanced production technologies, they all work effectively, people come from all regions of the republic and many regions of Russia to get acquainted with their experience. We hope that their example will help the further development, so that the trainees join the ranks of successful farmers and work for many years, handing over their business to their children and grandchildren, ”Marat Zyabbarov noted that the Ministry is ready to help through the existing support programs and accompany farmers' business projects for their successful implementation.
