The points of growth of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan will be technological modernization, increased yields, the introduction of agricultural land into circulation and the development of a breeding base
This was stated by the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture Dzhambulat Khatuov during the final board of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan. President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture Dzhambulat Khatuov and Director of the Department of Crop Production, Mechanization, Chemicalization and Plant Protection Roman Nekrasov took part in the event, which was held as part of the business program of the agro-technological exhibition TatAgroExpo.
Dzhambulat Khatuov greeted the meeting participants on behalf of the Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev, noting that Tatarstan is the largest grain producer in the Volga Federal District and one of the strongest agricultural regions in the country.
“Last year the republic received a peak grain harvest. The gross harvest of oilseeds, potatoes, sugar beets and vegetables also increased. This year, sowing of the main crops is planned at the level of last year, while the area of winter crops has grown significantly, which allows us to hope for bigger volumes, ”he said.
Positive dynamics is also noted in the modernization of the technical fleet. For example, last year the farmers of Tatarstan bought twice as many tractors. In addition, agricultural producers of the republic are leaders in working with JSC "Rosagroleasing". Thanks to leasing instruments, last year 1,075 units were delivered to the fields of the region. That was the agricultural machinery and equipment for 4.3 billion rubles.
Animal husbandry is also actively developing. Promising investment projects for deep processing of agricultural products are being implemented. This makes a significant contribution to ensuring the country's food security. According to Dzhambulat Khatuov, products manufactured in Tatarstan have well-deserved recognition and trust from consumers both in Russia and abroad.
Particular attention was paid to the issues of increasing soil fertility due to the observance of crop rotation, the application of mineral and organic fertilizers, liming and phosphorization. In these areas, Tatarstan is one of the leaders in Russia.
In addition, at the meeting of the board, urgent tasks of integrated development of rural areas, staffing, investment activities in the agro-industrial complex were considered.
