The head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan reported on the preparation of equipment for spring field work
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov reported on the preparation of equipment for spring field work today at a meeting in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting via videoconference was chaired by the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin.
The minister said that in the sowing campaign in 2021, it is planned to use 11 thousand tractors, 6 thousand seeders and cultivators, 730 wide-swath sowing complexes in a unit with energy-intensive tractors. On average, about 70% of this equipment is operated outside the amortization period.
Thanks to the republican program of technical modernization and preferential programs of JSC "Rosagroleasing" last year the farms were able to purchase 480 tractors, 150 cultivators and seeders, 81 seeding complexes.
At present, 68% of tractors, 85% of seeders, 65% of seeding complexes, 88% of cultivators have been repaired in the republic. One of the most labor-intensive work is the restoration of self-propelled equipment. Today, more than 3 thousand tractors, including 300 foreign cars, remain unrepaired.
Preparation of equipment requires 3.7 billion rubles, including 2 billion rubles for the period of spring field work. To date, spare parts have been purchased for about 1.5 billion rubles (52% of the required amount).
Also, the head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan reported on labor protection in the agro-industrial complex. In 2020, there were 8 cases of industrial injuries with severe consequences and 4 cases of fatalities in agriculture. The most traumatic are the professions of a livestock breeder, a machine operator and a mechanic-repairman.
The Minister informed that in 2020 the expenses of agricultural formations for labor protection measures amounted to about 230 million rubles or 4,725 rubles per employee.
