Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov announced this today at an expanded agronomic meeting. The event was attended by heads of districts, heads and specialists of agriculture departments, subordinate organizations, holdings, agricultural formations and farmers, as well as suppliers of seeds, protective equipment and agricultural machinery.
Marat Zyabbarov noted that last year was successful for the industry. “With a general decline in sectors of the economy, we were able to ensure the production index at 104%. This is the result of our joint work, and I want to thank everyone, but we still have a lot of unused reserves”, the minister said.
Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Ildus Gabdrakhmanov made an analysis of the results achieved and announced short-term and strategic objectives.
“The crop structure is the backbone of farming. It is important to rationally plan sowing taking into account the combination of grain, fodder and industrial crops, as well as clean fallow and green manure, ”the deputy minister said.
The goal for crop production for 2021 is to get production volumes at the level of 105% (in relation to the current year) and reduce the costs by 5%. Crop components: optimal structure, quality seeds, crop management (nutrition and protection), technological discipline and personnel.
For 2021, the task has been set to introduce at least 70 kgs of mineral fertilizers per hectare. It has been scientifically proven that with sufficient nutrition, the consumption of water for the formation of the crop is reduced by 2 times, which is quite important. “However, mineral fertilizers are not a guarantee of a good harvest. They simply do not work on acidic soils, ”Ildus Gabdrakhmanov said. To this end, all farms need to pay attention to soil deacidification, for this the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan provides special subsidies. Also, there are subsidies for the construction of mortar units, for the purchase of self-propelled equipment (sprayers), organic production and agricultural insurance.
Ildus Gabdrakhmanov drew attention to the fact that all the activities carried out should not be at odds with the environment, it is important to preserve the soil, carry out agroforestry and prevent the death of bees.
In the second part of the meeting, Rais Suleimanov, Director General of AgroInvest Management Company, Rafak Khaliullin, Head of the Agricultural Department of the Kukmor District, and Radik Nurgaliev, Head of the Nur agricultural firm, shared their experience. AgroInvest is the platform where the recommendations of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan are fully implemented. The work is also impressive at the Agrofirm "Nur" LLC in the Tetyushsky region. There, revenue grew by 70% in 4 years.
Marat Zyabbarov noted that it is not worth chasing harvest indicators by centners per hectare, it is important to look specifically at the profit per hectare. The minister also focused on the importance of agroforestry, land conservation and a thorough study of the deep analysis presented today by each agricultural enterprise.
At the end of the event Takhir Khadeev, Deputy Chairman of the Committee of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan on ecology, nature management, agro-industrial and food policy, spoke. He noted that such a detailed discussion of issues makes it possible to get closer to solving problems.
