Today, in the Tukayevsky district, a seminar-meeting was held on the digitalization of dairy farming at the basic farms of the Republic of Tatarstan, with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Lenar Garipov, the head of the main veterinary department of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan Almaz Khisamutdinov, the head of the district Fail Kamaev, heads and specialists of agricultural departments farms, veterinary associations, as well as managers and specialists of basic farms of 11 regions of the republic.

At the seminar, the participants discussed the issue of economic efficiency of the cattle identification system.

The head of the district Fail Kamaev addressed the participants with welcoming words. During his speech, he noted that Tukayevsky district was not accidentally chosen as a place for discussing such a promising direction in agriculture. “Tukayevsky district produces 35% of all meat products, 39% of poultry meat and 61% of pork meat in the republic. Milk yield is under special attention of the district. To date, the daily gross milk yield is 80.3 tons, which is 2.3 tons more than last year. These indicators are increasing due to the modernization and construction of buildings of livestock complexes. The priority is the purchase of cows with the best genetics, ”he said.

Gelus Bayazitov, deputy head of the State Budgetary Institution of the State Agricultural Administration of the Department of Livestock Breeding, spoke about the progress of the identification program in the republic. He noted that the digitalization of animal husbandry is the basis of an effective economy. The identification system allows you to manage the herd, as well as monitor the quality of feeding and reproduction.

Farm managers were also advised to review the remuneration system for farm workers and specialists. They should receive wages from the results of their work and depending on what indicators they can affect. For example, a machine operator wage depends on the accuracy of feed preparation, an inseminator’s wage depends on the pregnancy rate, etc. And all these indicators can be controlled through software products.

The practical part of the event took place on the territory of the Vyatskiye Zori LLC. Here the head of the farm Sergei Polynkin shared his experience in implementing this system.

“The farm's cows are equipped with chips that allow us to track their health and condition using a computer and mobile applications. The DC 305 program allows you to accumulate all data about an animal from birth (including diseases, treatment regimens, information on calving date, productivity, etc.).

For four months, farm workers have assessed the economic effect. During the operation of the system at the enterprise, there was a reduction in labor and an increase in milk yield. Now they can clearly control the work in each link based on the indicators in order to revise the salaries of workers.
