The company "August" has created a new farm in Tatarstan
The largest Russian producer of fertilizers, the August company, within the framework of the development of the agricultural direction, created a new large farm, OOO August-Kamskoye Ustye, in the Kamsko-Ustinsky and Verkhneuslonsky regions of Tatarstan. The total area of land is 63 thousand hectares, arable land occupies 45 thousand hectares.
“Our land plots on the territory of the Kamskoye Ustye and Verkhniy Uslon form a single array of lands crossed by roads - this is comfortable for logistics,” says Aydar Galyautdinov, general director of August-Agro Management Company. “In addition, these lands are convenient to cultivate. We have already leveled some fields - more than 12 thousand hectares, as well as applied ammonia for sowing corn next year. Currently, design work and preparation for the construction of two grain drying complexes with a capacity of 100 tons per hour each are being actively carried out, where all the crop production of the new farm will be accumulated. We expect to have them built and in operation by the start of harvest in 2021. ”
The new farm also includes several dairy farms for 7.3 thousand heads and a farm specializing in beef cattle breeding. In the near future, it is planned to optimize the livestock, aimed at increasing productivity and increasing gross milk production.
“We inherited from the previous owners a good breeding farm, at the moment there are 697 Hereford gobies for fattening. We will develop it, ”says Aydar Galyautdinov.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, thus, taking into account the new farm, the area of the Agroproject land bank of the August company on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan has increased to 148 thousand hectares (the arable land area is 130 hectares), another 20 thousand hectares of land are located outside of it republics - on the territory of the Krasnodar Territory, the Chuvash Republic and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
