"Tatar Halal" sausages take part in the "Tastes of Russia" competition

Registration for the First National Competition of Regional Food Brands "Tastes of Russia", organized by the Ministry of Agriculture of Russian Federation, continues until November 9. The organizing committee received over 400 applications from more than 70 regions of the country.

The five leaders in terms of the number of applications included the Republic of Tatarstan, which presented traditional sweets, drinks, flour products, and meat delicacies. As part of the competition, the regions will tell the whole country about local gastronomic delights. The best will be included in the large-scale map of tastes of Russia and will receive comprehensive support from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan nominated Pestrechinka LLC for participation in the first national competition of regional brands "Tastes of Russia".

In the nomination "Try, and Fall in Love" the regional brand "Pestrechinka" will present juicy and tasty sausages "Tatar Halal" from broiler chicken meat with spices, that do not contain pork.

The Pestrechinka brand has existed at the market for over 15 years. All products sold by Pestrechinka LLC are produced by Ak Bars Poultry Complex LLC, which includes three production sites: Chistopol Production Site for raising young animals, chickens are delivered one day old and raised up to 18 weeks of age. "Pestrechinskaya Production Site" is a parent stock site where birds are raised from 18 weeks to 64 weeks of age. Here the hatching egg is produced in a specially equipped incubator. The grown chickens are transported to the Pestrechinskaya and Zelenodolsk production sites for slaughter. At the Zelenodolsk production site there is a complex for deep processing of meat.

The assortment of the Pestrechinka brand includes more than 200 types of chicken products: poultry meat, semi-finished products, sausages, delicacies, and a separate line of Halal products.

The enterprise produces 63 thousand tons of meat per year in live weight, in slaughter - about 46 thousand tons. About 35% are processed in the deep processing workshop: smoked, semi-smoked, boiled products. The main assortment of finished products is about 60–70 items. The company keeps up with the times: in 2015, the packaging was rebranded. It has become more convenient for the customer, easy to remember and bright.

The products of Pestrechinka LLC are in great demand among the population and are sold in all cities of Tatarstan. The regional brand of the product is presented in large outlets such as X5 Retail Group, Auchan, METRO Cash & Carry, Zelgros.

On the "Tastes of Russia" website on November 19 the People's vote will be announced, within which everyone will be able to support his favorite regional brand.

All project participants will be included in the federal program of support and promotion, will have a chance to improve the qualifications of employees, and the winners will get the opportunity to receive support for the growth of demand and sales.
