Tatarstan chak-chak will take part in the "Tastes of Russia" competition

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan nominated Tatar honey, bread, halal products, lemonade, kvass, sweets, gingerbread, chak-chak, cakes for the first national competition of regional brands "Tastes of Russia" - 17 brands from all over Tatarstan.

The nomination "Tasty Nearby" presents a national confectionery product - the Tatar chak-chak, prepared in Laishevsky district.

Here chak-chak is made according to the traditional Tatar recipe: from soft dough, from which thin short sticks are formed, theт fried in oil and poured over with a hot mass made from honey.

Laishevsky bakery was founded in November 1974. In 2004 it was transformed into Laishevsky Pishchekombinat LLC. The enterprise produces more than 500 tons of products per year, including: bakery products, national pastries, chak-chak, brushwood, confectionery, egg noodles, pastries, cakes.

More than 290 applications from more than 60 regions of the country have already been received for participation in the First National Competition for Regional Food Brands "Tastes of Russia".

The Republic of Tatarstan entered the top five leaders in terms of the number of applications, which presented traditional sweets, drinks, flour products, and meat delicacies.

Recall that you can apply for the competition until November 9. Further, from November 19 to December 2, a popular vote will take place on the portal of the "Tastes of Russia" competition, after which the expert group will determine the best regional brands. The results of the competition will be announced in mid-December.

All project participants will find themselves in the federal program of support and promotion, they will have a chance to improve the qualifications of their employees, and the winners will get the opportunity to receive support for the growth of demand and sales.

The aim of the "Tastes of Russia" competition, which is held by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, is to draw attention to the successes of small and medium-sized businesses in the agro-industrial sector and to help create new points of growth and development of the country's rural areas.
