One of the largest agricultural holdings in Russia, Agrosila, makes a great contribution to the development of agriculture in Tatarstan.
This was announced today by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov at an event dedicated to the Day of worker of agriculture.
“Today Tatarstan is one of the leading regions of the country for the production of agricultural products and is one of the five leaders in terms of gross agricultural production. Occupying 2.4% of the country's farmland, the republic produces 4.2% of its gross output. A major contribution to the development of agriculture in Tatarstan is made by the leading agricultural producer in the Volga region and one of the largest agricultural holdings in Russia - Agrosila, ”said Marat Zyabbarov.
The enterprises that are part of the holding are important elements of the Tatarstan and Russian agro-industrial complex. The Chelny-Broiler poultry complex is one of the federal leaders in the production of poultry meat, the Zainsk sugar plant is one of the leading producers of granulated sugar in Russia. The holding's seed plant is the largest in Russia and has no analogues in Russia. The feed mill supplies the meat and dairy industries of the Republic of Tatarstan and other regions of the Volga region with compound feed.
The head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan reminded that the holding is also one of the largest investors in the agricultural sector in the Volga region. In 2020, the holding allocated more than a billion rubles for its own projects. Today the holding is implementing a number of large projects in the Republic of Tatarstan. Among them there is the creation of the first food cluster in Russia, which will allow organizing a closed production cycle in the republic from the field to the counter, monitoring its quality and safety at all stages.
“The company pays great attention to digitalization, environmental projects, the introduction of innovations in production processes, but the most valuable, as in any enterprise, of course, are people who, with their daily work, contribute to the development of the company and the industry in general,” the minister said and wished to improve the efficiency of agricultural production, increase exports, strengthen positions in the federal and world markets.
