The fair coincided with a decade of elderly people, so we brought ten pies, honey, sour cream, cookies, sweets and thermos with hot tea to the capital of the republic. About a hundred elderly people with gratitude tasted our food, - said the head of the Verkhneuslonsky regional agricultural department Rashit Gubaidullin.

One of the fairgrounds in Kazan is located on the Yamasheva street, near the Bakhetle supermarket. It is comfortable, there are always many buyers here. It is therefore not surprising that the heads of farms, for example, whose goods are sold at several points at once, are personally deployed here. One of them was Robert Sibgatov, a farmer from the village of Tatarskoye Mamatkozino, Verkhneuslonsky District. He and his wife Alfia brought beef to the fair.

- I have been participating in fair trade for a long time, so I know how important it is to choose the right place for trade. We set the price for meat in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan - from 240 to 290 rubles.

Robert Sibgatov is a farmer with solid experience. He is engaged in fattening livestock and dairy production. Now he and his wife have 80 head of cattle, including 36 cows. Things are going well. This year, for example, 39 hectares of land purchased from the villagers have been added to the rented 98 hectares. So they expanded the food base. In addition to the existing equipment, they also bought an MTZ-82 tractor, two mowers, and a tedder. They always have a solid supply of hay. And this year, for the first time, 300 tons of haylage was laid, revealing an earthen trench on both sides with concrete slabs. Farmers work hard and do not neglect the possibilities of budgetary support that are provided by state programs.

In general, at the fairground near the Bakhetle supermarket, you could see agricultural producers not only from Verkhneuslonsky, but also from Laishevsky, Buinsky, Pestrechinsky, Vysokogorsky, Kaibitsky, Spassky, Arsky, Baltasinsky, Alkeevsky, Aksubaevsky districts. The goods are the most diverse, and the prices are recommended by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan. Such fairs, which take place every Saturday, are especially popular with the townspeople who do not have cellars, which means there is no way for them to stock up on vegetables for the winter.
